This planting of ornamental grass, Miscanthus "Grazillia", begonias and coleus makes a great accent at the corner of our driveway.
The grass in the foreground is Northern Sea Oats, back left is Porcupine Grass and the tall grass to the right is Orundo Donax ( it survived 3 years but died last winter, it is only marginally hardy in htis area.)
The grass lower right is Muhlenbergia. It has a lovely "purple fog-like" plume on it in the late fall. On the left is Panicum v. 'Shenandoah'. It has a burgandy red tinge in its blades. In the back gorund is Miscanthus v. 'Adagio'.
This tall grass is Ravana Grass and stands about 12'.
